James Flanigan

James Flanigan served as State Commander from 1996-1997.  He was the 1^st Son in Massachusetts to hold the office, setting the stage for those who would follow.  He was selected at the first State meeting by his peers.

After completing his only term as State Commander, Jim served for 12 consecutive years as State Finance Officer.  Jim retired from the office of Finance Officer in 2009, holding the record for the longest continuously serving elected State Officer in Massachusetts (at 13 years).  He remains the only Son who has ALWAYS served on the State Finance Committee.
