Biography:

William Barry served as State Commander from 2001-2003. He was elected at the State Convention held at the Cape Codder in Falmouth, MA by his peers, and was reelected at the 1st Convention held at the Sturbridge Host Hotel in Sturbridge, MA.

Prior to being elected State Commander, Bill served as State Chaplain for several years.

After completing his time as State Commander, Bill went on to serve 4 years as National Executive Committeeman representing the Department of Massachusetts, becoming the longest serving Son in that role.

Bill is also a winner of the Son of the Year award, and to date is the only Past Department Commander to win the award.
